JACKSON SOURCE is the follow up of the Official Dutch Jackson Fanclub 1979-2006 in a new style. The Official Dutch Jackson Fanclub was run for 27 years by many, many different crew members on a voluntary basis in addition to their (full-time) jobs and personal commitments. Over the past 27 years, many fans have dedicated their time and energy and a part of their lives to supporting the Jacksons and working for the fan club. That’ s how the fanclub was able to continue, develop and improve all its services for a long time. But in the recent years the demands of the members changed and grown much greater. The fanclub realized that even with the best wishes and efforts, the club wouldn’t be able to meet the needs of fans who pay for a membership. The activity of the Jacksons changed, and these days Internet offers so much news, lots of multimedia, many communities and other exclusives that fans are looking for, that the Official Dutch Jackson Fanclub decided not to continue in the same form. Therefore the Official Jackson Fanclub continued on as JACKSON SOURCE since February 26th, 2006. That was exactly 27 years after the club was founded.  Jackson Source is meant as a follow up, but more importantly a portal for all fans worldwide to find the latest news, photos, fan communities, discographies, biographies, downloads and lots more on the world wide web. Now Jackson Source is run by a few devoted fans, who maintain the website and a back office to take care of relationships with fans and media networks and preparing events.
