Austin was one of BET's Music Matters artsits and did a showcase performance at the Creative Artists Agency on July 2, 2012 in Los Angeles, California. His grandmother Katherine, mom Rebbie, dad Nathaniel, sister Yashi and aunt La Toya were at the show in support of Austin. Backstage Austin and Tommy met with their idol Stedvie Wonder who also came out to the showcase.
